ONAIR LASER COMPRESSOR IN CROATIA
OnAir by Adicomp recently installed a single-stage screw compressor with operating pressures up
to 20 bar from the LASER series at a new production facility in Croatia.
The customer opted for air cutting, replacing nitrogen, considering several significant advantages that ensure a rapid return on investment:
- High cost of nitrogen as a raw material
- Non-negligible storage and logistical costs
- Employment of dedicated personnel for cylinder management
- Potential hazard (pressure over 200 bar)
By using compressed air, the customer completely eliminates these expenses and related issues, thereby improving the overall efficiency of the production process.
The laser cutting is performed using high-pressure compressed air, specifically treated to meet the quality standards required by the customer’s machine.
